In the modern digital world, video is King! If you’re not currently doing video marketing for you business or brand, YOU SHOULD BE!!  So today’s tip is:



The best way to start video marketing and just to press record! Don’t worry about what you sound like, if you’re giving good advice, just do it! A lot of people worry about so called “expert status” …You don’t have to know more than everyone! You just need to know more than your audience, after all, they’re coming to you for advice right?

It gets easier and easier with time, trust me! Get in the habit of making 1 or 2 (or 3!) videos per week for your audience. It will become second nature I promise!

When you create a video for marketing purposes keep it under 2 minutes. You want your target audience to watch the whole message, and if it is too long you will potentially lose audiences as they click off. You can always continue a thought or message in a follow up video if needed.

If you are thinking of using video marketing to increase your sales and website traffic, then look to your competition for some clues. See what is working for them and try to capitalize off of this information. You do not have to copy them, but see what is working for them and try to make it work for you.

If you want to film yourself talking about your products or demonstrating them, you should put together an outline for your video before you start. Make a list of all the points you feel are important and organize them logically so your video is easy to follow. Remember that you can edit your video to organize different points in a logical order too.
